CASRA was initially called SABR Canada and was the organization that managed the SABR Canada Conferences in 2022 and 2025. These conferences brought together professionals from across the country who recognized the need for greater collaboration in this rapidly evolving field.
CASRA was formally established in 2025 to create a unified national community focused on adaptive and stereotactic radiotherapy practice, education, and advancement throughout Canada.
Today, CASRA continues to support clinicians, physicists, radiation therapists, researchers, and educators through professional networking, educational initiatives, and the promotion of best practices in adaptive and stereotactic radiotherapy.
