Dr. Siavash Atrchian
PRESIDENT
Dr. Siavash Atrchian is a Radiation Oncologist at BC Cancer and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of British Columbia (UBC). His clinical practice focuses on the treatment of lung, gastrointestinal, and breast cancers, with particular expertise in Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR). Dr. Atrchian earned his medical degree from Tehran University, completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Dalhousie University, and subsequently pursued fellowship training at BC Cancer. Dr. Atrchian is the Founder and President of the Canadian Adaptive and Stereotactic Radiotherapy Association (CASRA) and Chair of the SABR Canada Conference, the only national conference in Canada dedicated exclusively to SABR. He also represents British Columbia on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO). He is actively involved in medical education and clinical research and has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications at both the national and international levels.
