Dr. Alex Louie

Dr. Louie is an Associate Professor and Clinician Scientist in Radiation Oncology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, University of Toronto. He holds an MSc in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health and a PhD in Stereotactic Radiotherapy from VU University, Amsterdam. He has authored over 250 peer-reviewed publications, largely in the areas of clinical trials, comparative effectiveness, economic evaluation, and technology appraisal in lung, kidney and oligometastatic cancers. He has had leadership roles with ASTRO, ISRS, RSS and ASCO, serves on the Lancet Oncology international advisory board and is a lung cancer associate editor for the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics.
