Dr. Atrchian is the Founder and President of the Canadian Adaptive and Stereotactic Radiotherapy Association (CASRA) and Chair of the SABR Canada Conference, the only national conference in Canada dedicated exclusively to SABR. He also represents British Columbia on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO). He is actively involved in medical education and clinical research and has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications at both the national and international levels.</image:caption>

He is also the Founding Vice President and Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Canadian Adaptive and Stereotactic Radiotherapy Association and an Associate Scientist at the Sunnybrook Research Institute. Dr. Safavi completed fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center under Dr. Nancy Lee and residency training at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He holds degrees from Columbia University, University of Toronto, and McMaster University. Dr. Safavi aims to use clinical trials and advanced radiotherapy techniques, including adaptive and ablative radiotherapy, to improve his patients’ outcomes, minimize possible side effects, and maximize quality of life. He has presented internationally and has had first-author manuscripts published in high-impact journals including the Journal of Clinical Oncology and JAMA Oncology. Dr. Safavi's research foci are to evaluate the clinical effectiveness and health system impacts of cancer care interventions and discover novel strategies (biology and technology-based) for improving the radiotherapeutic index. His research also encompasses multimodality imaging, image guidance, respiratory motion management, adaptive radiotherapy, and emerging stereotactic applications including cardiac radioablation, with an emphasis on translating new technologies into safe, precise, and high-quality clinical practice.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr. Benjamin Mou is a radiation oncologist at BC Cancer Kelowna and clinical associate professor at the University of British Columbia. Originally from Toronto, he received his medical degree from McMaster University followed by completion of residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Manitoba. He then completed a clinical research fellowship at the Mayo Clinic specializing in stereotactic ablative radiotherapy and radiosurgery. Dr. Mou is an expert in stereotactic radiotherapy and serves as Chair of the Stereotactic Technical Site Team in Kelowna. He was past Chair of the Provincial Lung Radiation Oncology Group in BC and was a Top 40 Under 40 award recipient from the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce for his contributions to bringing advanced, high precision radiotherapy techniques closer to home for patients in the BC Interior. He leads several clinical trials as a site principal investigator and is a research supervisor for numerous trainees. Dr. Mou is the Program Director of the Kelowna Precision Radiotherapy Fellowship Training Program and was awarded the UBC Radiation Oncology Teaching Award of Excellence by the UBC radiation oncology residents in 2025. He continues to lead the clinical implementation of new stereotactic radiotherapy programs for emerging indications in BC.</image:caption>

Dr. Dawson is internationally recognized for her expertise in gastrointestinal cancers, especially hepatobiliary cancer and liver metastases, and in advancing the safe use of advanced radiation techniques such as SBRT, IGRT and adaptive radiation. She has led landmark clinical trials that have established SBRT as a treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma and whole liver radiation therapy as an palliative treatment option for hepatic cancer pain. She has published extensively and mentored hundreds of trainees and radiation oncologists from around the world. She is past ASTRO President, 2018 CARO Gordon Richards (Gold Medal) lecturer and a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Science.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Professor Aisling Barry is Professor and Chair of Radiation Oncology at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland, and a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Cork University Hospital (CUH). She returned to Ireland in 2022 following five years at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and the University of Toronto, where she served as Clinical Lead of the Palliative Radiotherapy and Oligometastatic Disease Programme and was an active member of the breast and gastro-intestinal disease site groups. Professor Barry graduated in Medicine from Trinity College Dublin and completed specialist training in Radiation Oncology in Ireland, becoming a Fellow of the Faculty of Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FFR RCSI) in 2013. She subsequently undertook fellowship training at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (2014-2016), with subspecialty expertise in breast cancer and the use of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for hepatopancreatobiliary, lung and spine malignancies. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in 2019 and completed a Master's degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research at the University of Toronto in 2021. Her thesis focused on health-related quality of life outcomes in patients with oligometastatic cancer. An internationally recognised academic radiation oncologist, Professor Barry's research focuses on the development and evaluation of advanced radiotherapy techniques for patients with challenging and poor-prognosis malignancies, including primary and secondary liver cancers, pancreatic cancer and biliary tract cancers. She also has a longstanding interest in understanding and improving quality of life outcomes for patients living with and beyond cancer. Her work spans clinical trials, outcomes research and translational studies aimed at improving both survival and patient experience. Professor Barry has served on international guideline and expert committees, including the ASTRO Primary Liver Cancer Guideline Panel, and is currently an Associate Section Editor for the Gastrointestinal Oncology section of the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics. At UCC and CUH, Professor Barry leads the Radiation Oncology Clinical Trials Group, is local lead for the Irish Research Radiation Oncology Group (IRROG), and is committed to expanding clinical research opportunities and access to innovative cancer treatments for patients in Ireland. She is co-chair of Cancer Trials Ireland Gastrointestinal Disease Specific Site Group. She is co-lead of the UCC/CUH Cancer Centre Educational Committee and of the Cancer Research@UCC Research Talent Development Program, she is also the lead of the Irish Society of Radiation Oncology Advocacy group.  Professor Barry is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education, supervising MD and PhD researchers and contributing to the Master of Radiation Therapy programme at UCC. Through her clinical, research and educational leadership, she is dedicated to advancing radiation oncology practice to better patient care and developing the next generation of clinician-scientists.</image:caption>
